Oh my god! One whole year missing......

I just realized that I have not posted for one whole year.
To anyone reading this, I am still alive and kicking.
In the time I was gone, some things have changed but some things have stayed the same.

Changes
1. Started a freshwater prawn aquarium
2. Started a marine fish aquarium
3. Expanded and stabilized freshwater fish aquarium
4. Bought myself my first ever gaming console. The Xbox 360.
The Same
1. Still happily married.
2. Still no children
3. Still at the same company and job
4. Still trying to better manage my time......

"Fun" in the sun (ICT 2006)

My In Camp Training has concluded on the 13th of March.

However until today, I have yet to fully recover from the effects of our last major activity this ICT.

I had to take leave from work on the 14th just to spend the day sleeping at home.

 

So what is the activity that sapped me so?

It was a 4 days 3 nights adventure in a secluded spot in Singapore that included a lot of sun tanning and sleeping under the stars.

 

Day 1

Our transport dropped us off at the spot that was going to be our abode for the next 4 days.

As our eyes feel upon the barren ground that greeted us, we could not help but feel a hint of despair.

Our mission was to set up dug in defenses in the middle of a roughly circular area with a radius of about 150 - 200 metres.

An utterly barren and flat piece of real estate with no shelter from the sun or rain, not to mention (God forbid) enemy spy planes or bombers.

The powers that be informed us that this defense of this location was critical as from it, we able to oversee (and therefore control) a number of roads/tracks that led from the front line to where our headquarters would be sited. Thereafter, we began our task of preparing our positions.

 

Grr... I hate when I cannot find time to complete writing... be to continued...

 

It's been too long

I have been away for so long.....

Updates....

1. my renovations were completed one week before my wedding.

2. my wedding was a success despite all the anxieties

3. Our honeymoon in Korea was fun. Skiing is very trilling

4. Married life in our new home is blissful except for many small squabbles! :(

5. I dread the coming ICT, exams, report writing, etc.

 

I hope to return to regular blogging soon.

Bleeding to death

My pockets are bleeding to death!!!!!! So much money spent over such a short period of time.... and more to come... think I am going to faint. same as always.. I am very busy. :(
